Definitely one of my favorite places to get a good burger and fries (cheese fries too!). They even have smoothies/shakes. The atmosphere inside is nice and clean. The staff are kind and helpful. And the food is always coming out hot and tasty!

I ordered the turkey burger from Lee’s. It came with the basics (mayo, lettuce, mustard) and I added cheese. The patty didn’t have a lot of flavor and the toppings were basic, but the burger was fine. (3.9)

This place is great for sitting and enjoying your food. The food could tastes better, especially the spicy chicken burger. I found it a bit bland. The grilled chicken burger was really good with guacamole. The strawberry shake was also good! The chilly cheese fries were okay, but I liked fries by themselves than with chilly cheese.

I'm a regular customer here because their hamburgers are among the best in the area and the staff is friendly and courteous. The burgers are cooked over a fire and therefore contain less fat than those cooked on a griddle. However, recently I've noticed a need for greater quality control as several burgers I've ordered have been significantly charred and even different sizes and shapes. I'm posting this not so much as a negative appraisal, but as constructive criticism with the hope that the restaurant shows greater consistency in the quality of their product which is usually quite good.

Let me tell you about a hill that I will die on: I’ll take Lee’s over Shake Shack any day. Selection = excellent. Price = excellent. Girth of food = excellent. I once had a friend try to rebut this argument with some nonsense about fries. He was wrong.

We recently did takeout as an alternative to going to Shake Shack. Haven't been here for quite some time even though we live fairly close. Their chicken sandwich, I remembered, was good so wanted to try the burgers. The fries and onion rings were good and the burgers looked like proper burgers with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions, much much better than the way Shake Shack build their burgers. Unfortunately, the beef patties were a bit dense and dry and we had ordered medium temperature. I would try the burgers again though and order more rare temp. Overall, it's a great neighborhood joint that provides decent quality food and friendly service. Now, much preferred over Shake Shack.

Great experience. I ordered Lee burger and my son ordered BLT sandwich and strawberry smoothie. All are supreme. Service was fast despite of many people ordering at kiosk, online or at counter. Place is clean. Price was reasonable (for portion size). Highly recommended.

After a long day I was craving a cheeseburger. Conveniently located almost at the crux of Coolidge Corner, this seemed like a good option. Non of the specialty burgers seemed attractive to me, so I ordered a regular cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and some fries. With a fried egg on top. Let me get the good out of the way: the burger patty was juicy, it was delicious, it was thick and worth the price. The fries also were excellent. I got them with barbecue sauce (which I would not recommend), but by their lonesome they were perfectly fried and seasoned which is impressive considering how thick they were. Really nice job with both the patty and the fries. I was way less impressed with the toppings. The lettuce was iceberg quality and helpfully fell out in a single piece as I was trying to eat it. The buns were low quality and became essentially mush as I attempted to eat the top tall hamburger (and this was with me removing two toppings). The fried egg was overcooked and extraneous. When I order a fried egg on a burger I expect it to be cooked well, not well done. That all being said, this is a burger joint and the burger was by far the best part of the meal. Moreover the fries were really good. I think if you’re craving a decent burger in the area you could do worse. But there are definitely better options if you want to venture into Boston.

Welcome to Lee's Burger, a hidden gem nestled at 1331 Beacon St in Brookline, MA. This charming burger joint has earned a loyal following, thanks to its commitment to serving high-quality burgers and fries that leave a lasting impression on customers. From the moment you step inside, the clean and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful dining experience.

One of the standout features of Lee's Burger is the sheer variety of options available. Customers rave about the delightful choices, whether you are a classic cheeseburger lover or someone seeking a healthier alternative with their turkey burger. Reviewers like J. Yeh express love for the melty cheese fries and indulgent smoothies, while others have found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, thanks to the kind and helpful staff.

However, consistent quality can sometimes be a question. As noted by customer reviews, while the fire-grilled burgers generally boast a lower fat content, the cooking consistency has been a topic of discussion. Some patrons have reported inconsistency with charred burgers and varying sizes, hinting at the need for tighter quality control. Despite these minor critiques, the overall sentiment remains positive. Lee's Burger is a reliable choice for a satisfying meal, with flavors that resonate well when executed correctly.

Signature dishes, such as the grilled chicken burger topped with fresh guacamole, have left patrons like Manish Kharbanda pleased, though some feel certain items could benefit from amplified flavor profiles. The strawberry shake, on the other hand, garners universal praise, making it a must-try on your visit. As you explore the menu, you’ll find that selections like the chilly cheese fries are fun, but many prefer enjoying the simple crispy fries solo.

In short, Lee's Burger stands out not just for its excellent pricing and portion sizes, but also for the palpable passion and dedication found in its offerings. Drew Edwards boldly claims he prefers Lee's over Shake Shack, a statement that encapsulates the loyalty many feel towards this establishment. Whether you're seeking a casual bite or looking to savor each flavorful moment, Lee's Burger is prepared to serve you a meal that you won’t soon forget.
